Housing future sales down

For the third month in a row, housing sales in the US fell below last year’s level in September. More concerning is that pending sales, that is, sales that are expected to close in the coming months, are more than 11% below last year’s level. In the Valley, September home sales are down 6% from last year, while local pending sales are down 8%.
