Car Sales up 4.6%
Car sales rose to 16.6 million at seasonally adjusted annual rates in June, up 4.6% from the previous year's level. Car sales peaked in March 2025 at almost 18 million, just before the new tariffs were announced, and have trended downward through the end of last year.
